I'm not interested in having Ford buy back my BS. I am very satisfied with everything else about it. Fog lamps not withstanding, it's exactly what I wanted.

Sounds like something the attorney general of WV should be made aware of.So I'm no longer giving Ford the benefit of the doubt on this one. I called my dealer on Feb. 7 and they confirmed that the window sticker said fog lights standard, but the equipment is missing. (Attached is the PDF when I was shopping for the car and what I expected when I showed up with my checkbook. I also have the original in the glovebox that says the same.) They said they would have to check on it and get back to me.
So, today, after not hearing anything back, I called to check. They print out the window sticker today from Ford and now my window sticker with my vin and same MSRP has the entry for fog lights removed! And the dealer said they weren't sure if it's even something they would be able to install anyway.
If Ford is monkeying around on the backend and changing window stickers after sales are complete, that might be the most anti-consumer practice I've ever heard of. I will be speaking directly to Ford tomorrow and I will report back.

I agree with you.Sounds like something the attorney general of WV should be made aware of.
My guess is that installing the fog lights should not be very difficult. Often, the wiring for options is already there. There may be knock-outs in the bumper where the lights go.
If Ford does not want to have them installed by the dealer they should at least pay you a reasonable amount to make up for them being missing.
Do you have the paper version of the window sticker? If so, I believe you have a good shot at success with a legal action.I agree with you.
Tomorrow, I plan on getting a copy of the window sticker from the dealership with the fog lights removed to prove that they are being sly about this. Besides calling Ford, I'll also give WVAGPM a call. Here's the paper window sticker just to show you all.Sounds like something the attorney general of WV should be made aware of.

That's good!I'm optimistic that Ford will step up to the plate. If not, I believe my dealer will.
I was told of such a window sticker on the phone with my dealer on Monday, but I plan to get a copy for myself on Tuesday for my records. I will post a side by side if I can. That's good!
I got confused and thought that you were the person who was given a window sticker with the fog lights removed, but that as someone else.

So I've been told that there are only two people at the dealership able to send me the window sticker and they haven't had five minutes to send it since 11am. I'll be calling again tomorrow, assuming they don't sent it over in the next half hour.GO GET 'EM!
The plot thickens. That's not a good sign -- both not sending the sticker and being rude, when they should be apologetic. Very discouraging. So I've been told that there are only two people at the dealership able to send me the window sticker and they haven't had five minutes to send it since 11am. They were very short on the phone when I called to check in 4 hours later. I am getting more displeased by the second.
