Fender flare clips

Anyone with the fender flares from Ford accessories, keep an eye on the clips that hold them on. I had to remove mine today because two of the sections were about to fall off due to the clips popping off.

I still have my Fender flares but they are no longer on the Bronco, nothing but problems plus they were great for storing dirt and salt.

Lost right rear one after it fell off several times. It was dealer installed. They covered it under parts warranty.

Just for peace of mind, I added 3m double sided tape on the wheel well opening area. The two-fold benefit is (one) added adhesion and (two) an extra 1/6th of thickness for the clips to bite. I also added black stainless steel self tappers. I highly doubt that they’re going anywhere.

I noticed yesterday as well that the wind noise decreased a lot without them on
