Looking for four season reviews from folks that have the AT Trails. Looking to purchase in the stock 225/65R17 size for my Big Bend. Particularly interested in bad weather — snow/rain driving.

The stock size for the upgraded wheels is 235/65R17. I've been very happy with mine in off road mud, snow and rocks. 15,000 miles on them and they still look new. Haven't had enough snow here to test them on the road.

Approx 3200 miles (highway and city) on mine. Bought them as I was leaving Wyoming headed home to Florida back in August. No opportunity to get off road with them but they do perform well during rain and the highway noise isn't any louder than the stock tires.

I don't know about 70K, but if the current wear rate holds up I'll easily get the 55K Falken warrants these tires for.

Unfortunately, Ford doesn't provide the same warranty!

The AT3W are a great tire. I can't speak to the AT trails. My son in law has the trails on his Rav4 and really likes them.

@gitrhack we can attest that many forum members have used and recommended the Trail A/T when it comes to a more rugged look with better mild off road abilities and without sacrificing ride quality. :like:

I really don’t care how “rugged” a tire looks, I want a tire that is going to do what I need it to do when I am driving in all types of road conditions. If you are buying tires for looks and not for your driving conditions as in a winter tire for winter etc. Please let me know when you are out there so I can stay safely at home.

Ive had my Wildpeak A/T for about two months now and driven on dry and wet pavement and they hold up pretty well. seems a lot more quieter and handles much better than the stock Continentals that i replaced. im confident it will do well in the snow when the time comes

@WildFord thank you so much for the information. Many forum members should find it helpful when purchasing tires. It sounds like we need to get a good snow storm to test out the tires true abilities.

had the dealer take the stock Michelins off and replace with these on our MY21 OBX.

performing ok here in western Maine about 45 minutes from Mt Washington so we get our share of snow

again, no complaints
