I bought a E trailers hitch and it came in last week , so I decided to install today, I have a 9k lift in my home shop (lucky me) no more shade tree driveway jobs for me, anyway I tried for 45 minutes to find a way to lift this big bend and just couldn't find away with its short wheelbase to get the pads located where I felt comfortable lifting it and working under it , so I rebuilt all four lift pads so that I can lift from the manuals recommended jack points, that means a slotted tube so that it straddles the pinch welds , so after 4 hours of cutting, welding and bolting I gotten done , tomorrow I'll tackle the hitch , I also got the RC 1- 1/2 strut lift with the rear springs and shocks ,so I'll install those tomorrow too.

Looks like fun. My days of scooting around on the floor laying on a creeper or cardboard to work on cars is over as well.
I can rent a service bay and split the cost with friends that also need to do under vehicle service, it's not too pricey.

Post the results of your Rough Country install when complete.

I agree, lucky you! I still have to crawl on the floor and then figure out how to get back upright!

I'm fortunate enough to have a 2-post lift as well, but have not put the Badlands on it yet (used ramps for oil changes). Our '97 RAV4 (4 door) has a short wheelbase, and it's a bit tricky to get the arms under it -- I have to swing 2 arms in, then move the RAV a bit and do the other 2.

Hopefully the BS BL will not be a problem.
