Driveshaft Recall

Taking my FE in tomorrow for a faulty driveshaft replacement.
Apparently there is a recall coming out soon for this very issue in case anyone else is starting to experience similar symptoms. Anytime hitting the gas (most notably on an incline) the entire vehicle shakes & rattles.
16k miles.. first issue with drive-ability or warranty needs.

Did you experience this or just get a recall notice? I feel like I've seen this issue mentioned here at least a few times, so not surprised in the slightest that there's a recall...

Looks to be an older recall.

After a road trip, it became more and more apparent on the freeway. Once I took the vehicle in, the tech mentioned that Ford would be announcing a recall for this issue in the coming months because they’ve been having so many sports come in with the same issue.

actually it says, power train: driveline: driveshaft as sort of a catch all heading but as you allude to it only discusses the rear drive unit.
This is a old, long gone issue that happened during launch. 147 units effected. That doesn't mean you should ignore any fluid puddles on your driveway, from either end. ?
Asked my mechanic stepson about a driveshaft issue, his service dept hasn't had any.
