Driver door locking mechanism not working

I drive a 2024 Bronco Sport Big Bend. The driver door locking/unlocking mechanism isn’t working. I’ve done enough research to recognize I probably need to replace the actuator. However I cannot find a good DIY video to help me.

1) I’m not a car person but am trying to become one. So with that caveat, is this an easy DIY project for a beginner or should I just go to an actual mechanic

2) Can anyone share with me anything they have that may be helpful, youtube videos, the technical docs that show how to replace it? I’d be grateful for anything.

Wouldn't this be covered under warranty?

It should still be under the manufacturer's original bumper to bumper 3yr 36k mile warranty

If you bought the car from the dealership, they should cover all manufacturers defects for the 3 year period. The warranty generally stays with the vehicle, so even if you bought it off someone privately, the warranty should still apply.
