The rotary shifter is my main issue. If I have to change direction quickly (turning around in the street for example) - I have issues operating it quickly and accurately. It doesn't help it is next to the rotary Goat mode knob - I have reached for the wrong one a few times.
Wait till a crappy song comes on and you crank the volume knob down to “park”. :-/ done twice.the program in the transmission won’t let it break anything thankfully..

There were a couple of times where I went and reached towards the bottom of the center stack to find the starter button since that's where it is on the Maverick Lariat. The BS has it on top right next to the touchscreen. And when I'm in the Maverick, I went and touched the top of the center stack thinking I was in the BS!

My wife's 2021 Mercedes GLB 250 has the gear shift selector located where the wiper stalk would be on most cars.

After driving her car and then going into the BS, I start the BS and then wanting to put it in drive, I pull on the wiper stalk and watch the wipers operate, say a few nasty words, and then reach for the rotary shift knob.

My wife's Ecosport has a regular floor shifter, and my OBX has the rotary dial. Get them mixed up all the time. At least they both have push button start.

The shift knob is tough to get used to. Would much rather have a shift lever.

For me, its constantly reaching for the shifter stalk on the steering column. I actually looked to my left side one time when I did this, and saw a passenger in a truck see me do this and laugh. She rolled down the window and asked if I had a wheel selector to select gears too. She said she does it all the time in her other car.

I felt better that I'm not the only one. Another one was when I was showing off the bottle opener in the back to a neighbor. The bottle was too long and struck against the rear cargo tray.

neighbor thought that was such a stupid feature.
The round transmission shifter is an issue for me too...I may reach over and turn the A/C up, the volume on the radio, or any other knob in the general area.

I so dislike the rotary shifter. If I'm not paying close attention, I am thinking I'm in Park but I'm in Reverse....
