I have the 1.5" HRG lift which unlike most other companies specifically designed their stuff for the Badlands and actually test it, there is videos of them doing so, it fits better and is slightly stronger. I know someone who did the Rough Country and it never sat correctly and eventually had to be swapped out. When it comes to the Bronco Sport 90% of all those making parts are making them for the 1.5 which is a completely different motor, drivetrain, and suspension setup. Even when you get underneath the different versions the BS has some skids pre installed, not good but installed. You really have to be conscious of the parts and who makes them. ALWAYS read the fine print.

As far as my experience, so far so good driving the mountains of Idaho

Ford Ranger lifts does make a Badlands specific lift, but you have to make sure that is the one you get, and that is the one installed.

Did you end up with the RTR kit? Debating between that and the HRG.
Yep.
perfect fit… same comfort and handling.
Really like the RTR lift…
Using KMC 18” x 8 wheels and Yokohama g015 245/60r18, 25mm spacers rear, 20mm spacers front.

Looks great. What offset are your wheels? Trying to figure out clearance for possible spacers on my stock heritage 17” wheels with soon to be 245/65/17 tires.

Also did you install the lift kit yourself? I skimmed through the instructions and noticed the RTR doesn’t relocate the abs wire/brake line or change the endings in the front like the HRG kit. Also interesting the rear spacer is at the bottom of the spring and requires drilling and a locking pin rather than a top mount spacer like the HRG. I’m assuming you had no issues aligning to OE specs?

This KMC Nomad are 18x8 ET38 5 x 108
No problem at all. No rub, no noises.
A did the installation in a specialist here in town… not by myself.
I don’t have elevator and some tools.
Cheers
Obs. The specialist don’t think necessary the hole and pin for the rear spacer. We didn’t do it…

The spring isolator looks pretty snug on it but yeah, I could see it knocking loose in the right scenario. I wonder why they didn’t just go with a single piece spacer. I do like how simple the kit is and doesn’t require a bunch of additional brackets/spacers.
