Does anyone know the difference between these 3 crossbars besides the price? Is the Off-Road crossbars more durable and can hold more weight?

At this point I doubt Ford even has an answer.

Good question. I donā€™t even see those racks available on my build and price. I find it odd that they distinguish between 1.5L and 2.0L roof rail crossbars too. Does the badlands have different rails?

Iā€™m guessing there is absolutely no difference between all three. Just different name depending on which trim you are building. And the price difference must be another b/p price mistake. They are made by Yakima. If you go to Yakima, I couldnā€™t find them currently offering different crossbars for on and off road just different sizes and mounting styles to match different vehicles.
The 1.5L roof rail crossbar gets better MPG but wonā€™t have the HP some people want to pass people in Colorado at high elevations.
