I think the OP might be happier with a Subaru, jeep, Toyota, or Honda. Probably better customer service. And I hear some reporters even consider a CRV a more capable off roader

I would imagine you would have received a conformation sheet of your order. Did you start the order online or just go into a dealership. As mentioned, only two models have the 2.0 liter engine, the Badlands and the First Edition, did you order either of those models, it would be on your conformation sheet along with package options you say you asked for.

I ordered on line 2 days after the announcement in June 2020 with a 100.00 dollar deposit. They said to go to the closest dealer to complete the order and and get it started. I then paid 3500.00 down for the First Edition and they completed the order. I stated what I wanted, engine size, the tow package and the rubber floor mats all which was on the paper they had as options available and they took it all down. In Dec 2020 the car came in and I took possession then discovered it was not what I ordered. I had the first and only Bronco Sport in the upper Tennessee area at that time.

Hmmm… Of course we all realize orders for a 2020 BS couldn’t be “reserved” until mid-July, online only, with a $100 deposit. Actual orders occurred way after reservations.

In perspective, you've made four posts, two of them calling others trolls. Take a second and read through your first statement. You placed an order, took delivery, and now 8 months later you are upset it wasn't what you ordered.
Pretty crappy deal without doubt. But...you signed the paperwork, you took delivery. The day I picked mine up, the dealer sent me on a test drive to shake it down and make sure there weren't any surprises. Then we spent an hour going through the basics, popped the hood, asked if I could pair my phone, etc. Went through the sticker, covered all the essentials. And I bought off the lot.
I also ordered one, via emails. I was sent a copy of my spec sheet to review and sign confirming the order was accurate and included an omission or parts a availability statement. Even in the parts shortage world of today it was built to spec.
It's unfortunate you were taken advantage of. In the current market I am confident you could go to any other lot and most likely sell it for more than you paid. My nearest dealer has TWO F150s...2. ten other new cars...that's it. Bare lots. Take advantage of the situation and get something else. I feel for ya.

You ordered a FE & didn't get the engine you ordered ? It only comes with a 2.0 Eco boost , what did you think you were getting & did you get an FE you ordered ?

If you have it on paper that the Rubber floor mats were in your build ,,the dealer of Ford has to supply them . You have had this BS since Dec 2020 & you are now complaining about it or are you just trying to sell it ? Trade it in on something else , these are hot items & most dealers will jump on them .

Again, your posts don't add up. I could care less about the order date and all, but the First Edition ONLY came with the 2.0 Ecoboost. That's it. Now, if you ordered a first edition, and did not get a first edition, but you signed off on it anyway, that's 100% on you. You were not obligated to accept deliver on something that was not what you ordered, whether it was the first one in Tennessee or not.

Well his avatar pic is a BASE base model as far as I can tell. If you ordered a first edition and got a base there’s a HUGE DIIFFRENCE…..example if I ordered a 5.0 Mustang Gt and got a 4 banger eco boost…..I’m pretty sure I could tell I got the wrong one!!

So ordered an FE, was sold a Base, and then later realized it was not an FE. Yeah thats a dealer scam. Have you gone back to dealer call them out 'hey this Base is not an FE'?

You wouldn't have had to add any of the options you said you ordered, they are standard on the First Edition. The scam would be if the dealer charged you a First Edition price for the model you did get.

I have a 2020 Badlands Bronco Sport with a 2.0 engine that I am very pleased with. You apparently let yourself get taken for a ride.

When I was doing my search I made it clear from the start that I was looking for a BL+BL only and had no interest in any other models. That didn’t stop many salesmen from trying to put me in a BB or OB. They’re trying to sell what they have on their lots. No surprise.

That being said this story just doesn’t add up. Options aside, there is a $10k+ difference in price between a base and FE. And you’re just now realizing 6 months in that the car you have isn’t the one you wanted?

If it arrived in December of 2020, I'm not sure I don't see the point reporting it in July of 2021.

I almost posted a similar reply. Almost 7 months later to report here, I just wonder to what end? Also with just over 500 on the car after almost 7 months? I know different habits we have but I find that last part even harder to process.

I think OP needs to expand on his post a bit.
