Dealer lets people test drive your new Bronco Sport…

Now that we’ve placed an order for a BS Badlands, I was wondering:

How would you guys feel if your dealer allowed other people to test drive your Bronco Sport, something you customized, ordered and waited months for, before you picked it up?

I tell him that they just lost the sale, I’d be pissed to tell ya the truth. I’m too anal for that. Even tho it’s new I’d tell ‘em its just a used car now that you let someone drive MY New vehicle.

My dealer contacted me once they found out when the car would arrive at their lot. I would be pissed if I special ordered a car, waited months to buy, and they allowed other people to test drive.

I would be seriously angry. I think I would walk away.

Problem is, the dealer would immediately sell it to someone else so I doubt they would care!

Put it this way. There is a reason apple lets you inbox your own stuff during setup. If someone test drove it first, it would be like getting an iPhone and it was already all opened and settings changed.

Have people actually had that happen? I’ve never had but that’s just me. I know Granger has said they would never allow that to happen.

Who would test drive something like a Bronco Sport and not test it’s “off-roadiness”? So, knowing someone just went stupid to see what it’s like to off-road test my vehicle, would be bad.

(My dealer did tell me that people will be looking at it and asked me if I’d allow them to sit in it with a salesperson present. I told them yes and they said thank you as I was the first to say yes.)
