Looking to get a dashcam or mirror dash cam. The one thing that I was struggling with is the location for the rear camera. I don't see any good options. I would rather not drill. I don't see any good options that I can do and easy mount. Anyone here mount a rear camera anywhere on their Bronco Sport? Mind sharing pics? Thanks in advance!

If it matters, I have a 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend with the black diamond off road package.

You might find some videos on YouTube or here on how to remove some trim. I'm pretty sure you run a wire from the front to the rear through the headliner some way. Do you plan to get an interior camera? I can't see the point in that, just to watch me scratch or look bored while I'm stuck in traffic.

Now, the important question... have you uploaded any pictures of your BSBBBD on here? That's the best package, in my opinion!

I will say. It’s the most efficient route in terms of opening the glass with no issues but getting it through that rubber boot was an experience. I fished a guitar string through the boot and pulled the camera wire back through. Also used an electricians fish tape and pulled down the roof from the rear opening and pushed it through til I could grab it from rear passenger door roof than pulled the camera wire straight over to the rubber boot/grommet

Also gotta be careful to keep the camera wire behind the airbag curtains so as not to inhibit them from operating correctly when needed

That looks nice! I want one of those bug deflectors now.

What's the benefit of a mirror cam like that? Can you switch it to show the rear cam as the image?

That’s great for the rounded ones with a mount like that. But most that I have seen would not mount like that. They are meant to mount like above license plate. The bracket would not accommodate sticking on window. But that’s a great mounting job!

You can always keep the rear view up while still recording front and rear at same time. Also wide field of view on rear camera than mirror.
