I own a 22 Badlands that is currently being repaired for some loose a and c pillar panels. The dealer gave me a 24 Outer Banks with the Black Diamond Package as a loaner.
First thing I notice is how smooth the transmission is, and how smooth and quiet the vehicle is. There are no interior rattles at all. I also get the hood shaking issue on my Badlands, but the hood on the Outer Banks does not move a bit.
Did Ford make big changes between these models and model years to notice such a difference?
It just feel like the Outer Banks is built a lot more solid than my Badlands.
