So had to take two kids off to a band camp this week. That meant two large suitcases, duffel of provisions, bedding/pillows, a cased french horn and a case euphonium. In other words, a fair amount. Not to mention the instruments can't slide or roll around. I was originally going to take my F-150, but it was pouring sheets of rain and my tonneau does leak some. So, I tested out the the Sport and the CMS system. I fit the two rollerbags on the main deck, the top deck took the euphonium and case, along with the bedding and duffel. I sat the French horn in the backseat. One teen in the back, the other in the passenger and me driving. Had space for more. CMS is definitely worth the $195 as an option at order.

Ordered the same, thought it would be useful as well. I like the idea of using it to divide the cargo area. Smaller items tucked away...etc

Alright, fess up: who else had to look up “euphonium?”
It's usually your words that have to be looked up!

And I’m sure you got better gas mileage too.

And yes, unsurprisingly to no one, I had to look up three words in this post, including euphonium.

Got 29.7 mpg running 87 octane. What were the other two words?

A euphonium is a low brass instrument that is very similar to a baritone, but has 4 valves instead of 3 valves. While it is smaller than a tuba, it is pretty large instrument.

Admit Nothing.
I made a serendipitous CMS self-storage discovery. When folded, it slides into a slot parallel to the rear seatbacks and sits neatly out of the way. I've seen complaints in other posts about the CMS panel getting in the way (and I've experienced it). Now it has a home in the BS when it's not useful.

It is amazing what can be discovered by chance, when you least expect it. Wham right before your eyes!
