I truly doubt many BS owners use the slippy table top for tailgate parties or camping, but I could be very wrong.
I use the CMS (slippery) top table all the time. Besides every day use, we use it for picnics too and tailgating.

CMS table when folded fits snugly behind the rear seats for those occasions that I do not need to remove the table.

i have 4 added accessories which help:

$15 Large Adjustable Elastic Envelope Cargo Net - 43" x 17.5" Nylon Mesh Flexible Storage Organizer Net - keeps items from sliding out (https://a.co/d/55uF0zY)

$27 See pic - Coleman 24-Can plus ice Party Stacker Cooler, Blue, Store SKU # 1000593501 Internet # 203639890: fits under the Cargo Management System
Exterior dimensions: 22” Length x 13.5” Wide x 8.25” Height

Couple of moving blankets purchased at Harbor Freight - these are kept folded and on top of the table but also help prevent items from sliding. And I often use moving blankets when hauling anything with or without the rear seats down and with or without CMS table removed - moving blankets prevent scratches to interiors plastic parts.

$25 4-Pack Sterilite 56 Qt Wheeled Latching Storage Box, Stackable Bin with Latch Lid - fits under the CMS Table https://a.co/d/erZDcJk

None of the 3 pics are my Bronco Sport — and my cooler is blue. But gives some ideas.

Thank you! As for the Cargo shelf it really wouldn't give me more cargo space as it is only a "cover" really, and good for stacking things that won't slide off? My groceries would. Also I think you lose a little bit of width with factory installed? I just use my black canvas storage unit from Amazon. I'm still sad I didn't order it (with NO help from the manager at the dealership, over the phone order). I've learned my lesson.
I should have said cargo mat (floor). That has two positions. Low and high. Low if you have the small spare and high if you have the full size spare. The cargo shelf works actually well. I keep an old bath runner to assist with loading heavy items and folded up it keeps items from sliding around.

Congrats....I have a cargo net too but have not used it yet...I'm just never storing much in my hatchback except for the black canvas Fortum organizer with lids. Mostly auto supplies. Bought the extra large with three compartments. Takes up a bit of room but I wanted something to conceal "trunk" items since I didn't get the CMS.
