Welp, I stand (sit actually) corrected. I'd keep an eye open for someone selling theirs on eBay. I would imagine discount suppliers will sell it for less than MSRP as well.

After all this I think I found the exact vehicle I have on order at a dealer 2 hours away. However upper management took it home for the weekend. So hopefully come tomorrow they didnt put to many miles on it. Will try and work a deal out before making the drive. There is just to much uncertainty with interest rates to wait three months for mine to potentially come in. Oh and its a new 2022. New is good. Even though aused First Edition would have been cool, Its not Heritage Limited cool.

If you haven't even asked the seller, why worry about it? Seller might have it and just didn't set it up for the picture. Yeah, it's outrageous to buy aftermarket. Not just Ford. Hyundai wants $600 for a spare spare-tire cover / cargo floor. Hard pass from me.

I was looking at 2 vehicles. I was just researching ahead of time. I did'nt want to start the process yet of the contact with the dealer. I am going to see about a new one thats 2 hours away. Its exactly what I want.

Yikes, I wasn’t expecting the shelf by itself to be a 500 dollar item. Someone has that set to maximum profit. I thought Someone on here got one much cheaper than that but I could be wrong. You could make one relatively easy I would think using some 3/4 plywood and a piano hinge.
