While looking at a used First Edition online in the pictures it appears the cms shelf is missing. Our forum provided the part numbers and cost. WTF A grand just for that piece.

That was not a standard item with first edition .But it was one of the options offered .

I am aware of that. I also have one on order. However I am also considering a used first edition. It looks like the shelf is missing. But it originally came with it.

Your original post said “wtf a grand just for that piece” so I thought you were indicating the cost of the option was $1000.

They probably just don’t have it in the photos or have it folded against the back seat in the pics. Did you ask the seller?

Buying the parts for the cargo management system is a lot more expensive than ordering the option on a new build.

The shelf itself is much cheaper than the side panels. You’ll be able to find a shelf only on the secondary market.

It is used, As I stated and it is not in the pictures, Yes it has the side panels for it. Since I must not be explaining it correctly here is a picture. No I have not contacted them yetbecause I am not sure I want to just yet,

If you order a BS without the cargo management system the sidewalls in the cargo area do not have the slots (in your picture) required to make use of the shelf. In other words, the shelf is useless without the sidewalls. My guess is the purchase price for the CMS you saw includes replacement sidewalls for the cargo area, not just the shelf itself.

The side walls are $500 each the shelf is a grand as per posts here and on a parts search through ford.

Mark I get all everyone is saying. I know all of this. WHat I am saying is in the 2 years this particular vehicle appears to have lost the shelf. To replace it costs One Thousand dollars.
