I am not a fan of electric vehicles. I just can't get past having to wait around to charge them.
By far the biggest issue with EVs for average consumer. Once technology advances enough and you can charge them quicker and they have more mileage per full charge I think they will become even more popular.

AND ( a big one for me), their prices go down to which an average consumer can afford to buy one.

I agree that people aren't broke. They have priorities and their families are it.

It's hard to purchase a vehicle now with interest rates high and on a commodity that's going to depreciate and be worth close to 50% of its cost when the loan is paid off.

Right now, not a lot of disposable income in this economy. I think Stellantis is in trouble.
I don't think "Stellantis" is in trouble per say. They do well in just about every other country. I think they are just simply thinning out their dealerships. At least, those that don't conform to what they are trying to do (whatever the he11 that may be ?‍♂ )

He has some version of a click bait title every week. Some people are definitely hurting no doubt. Raptors and loaded F-350 diesels are 120k here in Canada. (150,000.00 with tax. Only a select few can afford that. Imagine paying 2300.00 a month for 72 months for a vehicle. 31,000.00 in interest costs alone!
Agree. His links are very click baity.

I don't think this will ever happen. I think hydrogen will be a thing before this happens.

I've been hearing of hydrogen based fuel since the early 80's. BMW had these working back then; pure water vapor out the exhaust. The biggest hurdle is setting up hydrogen fueling stations.

Can we guess who would be the biggest block for setting up hydrogen fueling stations? Rhymes with "obile", or "Bhell", or any other oil based fueling stations in existence right now.

Stellantis is in in big trouble in the US. They only want Jeep, and are likely to sell or kill Dodge and Chrysler.

Ford will be waiting, as all the power MOPAR clain will swing over to the 5.0 Mustang.

A shame one man can destroy a loyal fan base.
