I think 10/31 is some default date which does not mean a lot. I think Ford will do all they can to get them delivered as soon as they can. When will that be who knows.

If I didn’t have to decide what to do with my Edge that I need to return in 10 days I wouldn’t be as worried. If its coming in August I can get by, if its really October than a different more expensive plan needs to be made.

If I had the luxury of time it wouldn’t matter if it was a few weeks or a few months but I have already extended my lease 3 months and its up in 10 days. My first badlands arrived severely damaged and if that didn’t happen I would have been in my car since March.

I just left my dealership and he gave me a printout on the status, it says microchip on hold at plant with the same date of 10/31. Sadly this is pretty much confirmed that those with BL+BL package are going to be waiting until then.

I'd ask the dealer if they can do a lease extension or short-term lease to cover the time until you get your BS. I had to wait on my last car to be delivered, and Lexus let me extend my lease a few months to cover until it arrived.

I made a new thread with a photo of the dealer visibility report. I agree, I hope all the plastic inside is not warped or damaged otherwise from sitting there all summer.

I have the same except the window sticker date all the way at the bottom now says 6/25. I am goin to the dealership tomorrow to see if they have more information. If they say anything useful I’ll come back and update here.

I put my order in January, had to make an ammendment in April. Still no VIN, production date or anything. Dealership told me I likely won't be getting until 2022.

I really feel for you all who ordered the big bronco as well that sucks to reserve in 2020 and be told sorry now it’s 2022 or 2023.

Same story here,,,,, Badlands Package with Cargo Mgt. System, Tow Package, Moonroof, etc. Ordered 2/3/21. First email from Ford had production schedueld for 2/18/21. Then bumped to May 10, then May 31. Tracking shows "In Production" on 6/4 with a note that says, "This may take a few days". Now estimated delivery is Oct. 31 (Happy Hallopween). I want my truck!

That’s what many of them are saying, in production, I think this means they are building them and just letting them sit until the chip is ready
