My order for a 2021 Broco Sport Badlands was submitted and accepted by Ford on March24. Initial build date was week of 5/31; subsequently changed to week of 6/4. When I check the tracking on my order it shows in production 6/4 but nothing else. There is an estimated delivery date of 10/31!!!! Is this for real?? I am aware of the chip shortage; but does it really take seven months to get a vehicle??

Yes, unfortunately your timeline seems pretty standard.

did you, by chance, order the Badlands package for your Badlands?
that could be the main reason.

Yeah - I did order the BL package
the BL package is going to push you to the end of the line unfortunately. Come October you will have what you want and a very capable ride...due to the extras in the badlands package you are multiple chips in the hole I'd guess. Plus the moon roof option is impossible to fill right now.

Try waiting nearly 9 months.

Does anyone know if the BB package is also being pushed to the back of line or is it just BL package?

same thing happened to me, in production and then 10/31 on the tracker but nothing from Ford itself. I have heard that the October date isn’t set in stone and people have gotten that date and they got a message later that delivery was just in a few short weeks. I’m going to call Ford on Monday and see if this is accurate.

I have the same except the window sticker date all the way at the bottom now says 6/25. I am goin to the dealership tomorrow to see if they have more information. If they say anything useful I’ll come back and update here.

I think 10/31 is some default date which does not mean a lot. I think Ford will do all they can to get them delivered as soon as they can. When will that be who knows.
