Can someone help me understand my status?

I'm a little confused and I know someone can help make me understand this.
I have a reservation from a dealer almost 6 hours away in a different state as none in my state have been anything but unhelpful. The order tracking says in production 6/9, has built as 6/10, but hasnt moved from the in production part. I know its saying 10/31 estimated delivery, but confused on the dates. Does it mean its stuck in production or what? Whats interesting is the dealer ordered 2 of the exact same trim on the exact same date and the other is already shipping to them. Unfortunately someone else already had dibs on it.

Yours is probably just like mine. It is missing the RCM chip and has been moved to the parking area for uncompleted units. There will be no movement of it until the chip is put in. Mine has been in production since June 18th awaiting this chip. There seems to be no reason to how units are finished and shipped. It appears the luck of the draw at present.

The delay is guaranteed the RCM module/chip delay. Biggest issues are Badlands, moonroof, badlands package, 360+and tow package. Combined is the package of death when you mention two identical builds if there are any exclusions that can make all the difference. Or just really bad luck at this point. Though it seems ford is making headway

Looks like each Friday is a big change, like they mass update.which makes the most sense. Use it as a guide not the truth if that helps. My guide said my delivery would be the 28th and as I stated several spots, it was in my garage on the 7th three weeks ahead.

That's what I figured. The interesting thing is it's an outer banks without the outer banks package. Just basic build. Same exact as the one that did ship.

This was somewhat key on blue oval forum
. There have been a number of reports lately from BOF members that have called Ford and been told that certain order status information is no longer available. I can't confirm this but it may be a reaction from Ford due to what I expect is a large increase in the volume of phone calls related to order status inquiries.



Dealers have 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system which provides complete information on order history, scheduling, production and shipping status. Customers that have placed retail factory orders are encouraged to contact their Dealer for the latest order status.

Well that's likely just unfortunate luck if it was identical and basic. I feel for ya. As I just posted, every dealer has access to complete visibility and status and SHOULD be able to help you some. I know I took a similar path when I got mine. Dealer called and said it was inbound. He cited end of the month and it showed a whole lot earlier. But...this was just before the chaos in early May.

Mine has Production Date June 22, ETA 10/31, and status stuck In Production. My dealer says On Hold Microchip. So large numbers of sports built in June incomplete and in storage. I have not heard of anyone reporting any movement on any of these incomplete June units. The weeks months roll by and they continue to sit.
