I recently found out that the BS can not even be towed on a dolly. This was a bummer for us as we have a motorhome and would have to buy a car hauler to take it with us. I have also canceled out because of this. Waiting so long has just worn us out and then this disappointment. Still a great...
Chips have come in and are on the production floor, not being sent outside to the waiting units. At this point finishing the units sitting and waiting are the last things production wants to concern themselves about. I am sure Ford is not the only company doing this. Be interesting to see if...
join the party. Your BS is waiting on a Chip just like the rest of us. Be advised that the units built in July for the most part are being completed and shipped. Bad PR on Ford's part. Sooner or later (right now I would bet on later).
Yours is probably just like mine. It is missing the RCM chip and has been moved to the parking area for uncompleted units. There will be no movement of it until the chip is put in. Mine has been in production since June 18th awaiting this chip. There seems to be no reason to how units are...
I worry about anything built in today's world. However, Ford has been good to me in the past. They could have come out with a BS that would cost 38 to 40 K and would you have bought it. I don't think the Jeep Cherokee is any better.
My BB has been in production since June 18th and waiting on an RCM chip. Do you have any idea what the reason for mine sitting, and yet I see other being built and shipped with July build dates?
BS BB. Delay is RCM chip. Best I can deduce is that nothing will ship until this chip is put in. At that point it will come out of production and state that it is built. Unless Ford does start units for dealer to install chip when chips are available. Looks like the F150s are taking...
