I updated from the Carlinkit 3.0 to Carlinkit 5.0 yesterday. I was beginning to get more drop offs and lagging Waze display.
It was odd, for the last month it would disconnect every morning in the same area. Going home in the same area, no issues.
The new Carlinkit 5.0 works much better IMHO. I can use the USB C to USB C cable that came with it but I did get a right angle short cable that is a cleaner option.
