I still haven't quite figured out the rationale for white wheels on a vehicle with offroad capability. That doesn't take into account the sizeable amount of brakedust that rapidly accumulates.
I can't figure out the white wheels at all. I'm not a big fan of the ones I have either. I like the Badlands or Big Bend wheels much more.

That looks great. That is the Bronco I ordered in March of this year and have no idea when it would be built. I have not heard from Ford for 2 months. My price for that was going to be $50,000, aprox. $ 47,000. with D plan discount. So $41,000 was a steal not sure how you got it for so low, but good for you and enjoy. I am very envious but happy for you and happy with my Bronco Sort Heritage.
As they say sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good! I originally reserved back in 2020 with Granger when they were offering 2k below invoice. Ford took way more reservations than they could produce in one year given the issues with Covid related supply issues and first year gremlins in production particularly with the MIC top. This pushed me into year two and Ford no longer was going by reservation order but by dealer allocations. Granger is not a big dealer by any stretch so those of us with orders at Granger, we were kind of screwed as Ford was not allowing you to change dealer without losing price protection and “your place in line” which had become somewhat of a joke. Anyways, Fords guaranteed price protection for early reservations was going to expire at the end of 2023 so Ford did something most did not expect and allowed dealers to use future allocations to try and clear out the old orders. I originally reserved a Base with a manual and mid but when it came time to order, Ford would not allow that configuration so I had to switch to a Badlands, but really didn’t want the vinyl seats. Last fall when they came out with the Heritage, they gave us with existing old orders first dibs on ordering a Heritage. Last fall the price was ridiculously low considering what you got. It was less than a Big Bend with Sasquatch plus you got the MOD top and you didn’t get penalized 1.5k for ordering a manual transmission like you did with Big Bend. My private offer (21-23 price protection) was worth 3.5k based on my 2022 order of a Badlands.

So that’s how I was able to get it for 41k. Dumb luck and patience!

Back in the day we all ran white spokes on our 4 Wheelers. Never an issue with keeping them clean. Granted many of the vehicles still ran drums up front but they were still popular in the late 70’s when the fronts started changing over to disk brakes on the 4x4’s.

Plus the early Broncos and Jeeps all ran light colored steelies as stock.

One of the primary benefits of steelies is if you bash one on a rock it'll probably just bend. If you bend it enough to break the tire bead you simply remove the tire, beat the rim back into shape with a hammer, then put the tire back on. Alloy wheels don't bend. If you bash one hard enough on a rock it'll crack. Once that happens it won't hold air, and then you're down to your spare.

What skids/rock sliders did you go with ??
We still don't have sliders installed....this summer I'll fab up something. One thing I didn't know until I tried to drill holes for the skid plate is that the rockers (if not more) are heavy, HEAVY metal. As in, went through 3 bits drilling 4 holes! Didn't seem overly thick, just very hard to drill. Someone said its a special alloy or whatever, no idea, but it's not regular body metal.

That said, I've got the whole bottom protected with skid plates, sliders are the only thing missing now so yes I'll "get to it" when I get a chance. (building a stock eliminator mustang right now so I'm a "little" busy, lol)
