Bronco Sport Hybrid

Whenever Ford offers a hybrid Bronco Sport, what engine would it be teamed with? Would it use the same AWD set-up as in the Maverick Hybrid AWD - 2.5 Atkinson engine and ecvt transmission? Or, will Ford go with the 1.5 3 cylinder ecoboost, or the 2.0 ecoboost with an ecvt?

The hybrid ecoboost 1.5 and 2.0 are Changan Ford. So who knows if they would ever make their way here.

Considering the 2.5 is currently the only option in the US that would fit the Bronco Sport (and is in the Escape and Maverick, the stable-mates of the Bronco Sport), that's the only real option. Options here: https://www.ford.com/powertrains/hybrid/

Anything else is speculation of what Ford wants to develop and release at a later date. I'd bet money they won't announce anything else until whatever comes after the mid-cycle refresh (the 2025 through the next few years).
