Broken front windshield 2-3 months out to replace

I'd want to hold out for a Ford replacement, aftermarket (like Pilkingtonl) are never quite right. You're probably "lucky" there's no aftermarket yet, though insurance should pay for an original replacement on a brand-new vehicle.

Hit a Turkey one time in an F-250 and it broke through the windshield, Bashed the part of the cab in pretty good where it meets the windshield and landed in my passenger seat all battered and bloody.

Turkey BUZZARD busted wide open spilling what he had for supper on the seat.
A whole new interior,, everything,,
Did not get the smell out.
