Hi all!

I’m going to buy some BFG A/T’s in a couple months, and was wondering if anyone has put any 250’s on their Badlands without a lift? Or any Sport model without a lift. I’ve seen a lot of posts talking about 245’s without a lift.

Also if anyone has put a 70 depth without rubbing? I’m also considering spacers for a beefier look (~1”-1.5”) which I’d think would help with this.

Any thoughts on this (tires or spacers) would be greatly appreciated!

Do a bit of searching on this site; there's a great deal of info regarding tire sizes vs lift. The long and the short of it is the fore and aft wheel well dimension isthe limiting factor for tire diameter, and the currently available lift options do not help in that regard. It's difficult to significantly lift a unibody vehicle.

Before you buy, look at tire weight, there is a difference between manufacturer
Thank you, I have noticed that as well, I plan on doing some more research as to how that affects performance and/or fuel economy. Would you know anything related to that off the top of your head? If not no worries. Thanks again!

The Mickey Thompson’s I put on were lighter than the BFG - lost 7 mpg, but look good, I can’t remember the exact difference in weight. 22 badlands

When I was driving my Jeep Liberty diesel too fast on gravel roads, I was getting flat tires evey few weeks. I finally upgraded to BFG All Terrain Radial in a slightly taller tire. It made about 4 mpg difference on the highway. The only time I had a flat was when I aired down the tires for a smoother ride on sharp rocks. It punched the sidewall. It turned that Liberty into an off road beast.
