My favorite tire reviewer www.tyrereviews.com is back testing agressive A/T tires and #2 and #5 may surprise some people!
Don't forget you can go to his web site and adjust the tire test weighting, to best fit your use case.

Choose your weapons carefully.

Definitely the best dedicated snow test video I've seen!

I have the Toyo ATIIIs on my sport. They've done great (especially in the snow) and they're relatively lightweight. My only gripe has been early tread wear.

I have the Baja Boss ATs on my "big" bronco have have been really really impressed with them. They're really heavy, but the traction across a lot of very different situations is amazing. I've only had them out in snow+ice once so far (put them on this summer), but they had enough grip that I didn't even notice it was slick when other folks were sliding sideways off the trail. The mud traction is insane for an AT, too

At any rate, I'm glad to see both of those do well in the testing!

Wow impressive!! #2 is a huge surprise!!

Comparatively though I am not sure I’d go beyond the top 2…biggest issue in winter is braking under ice conditions - at least for my application

I have to tip my hat, this confirms everything I have been following for years! Nokian Outpost ATs for spring, summer and fall, then Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 studded for winter in my area.... you can climb wall with those!! LOL

My BadSport doesn’t get driven a lot in winter since we can access the town Nordic ski trails just a few yards from our house. So other than weekly trips to get groceries we stay home and enjoy retirement. But I was surprised how poorly the WildPeak AT4W scored on that test. I’ve been running the old AT3W for years, first on my Xterra and now on the BS. We get enough snow that some members of the US Olympic cross country ski team train here. In fresh powder, heavy wet snow and end of season slush those Falkens have done well. Not as solid as a dedicated snow tire, but I’ve never had an issue with control. Even this morning, with 12 degrees following a freezing rain that left ice so slick I had trouble walking, the AT3W didn’t lose traction. Sorry to see the new version fell short. My next set will probably be the Nokians

I saw that storm, it was crazy! You never know what to expect during the "cold" season here in AZ.
