Battery Alert Question

Does anyone know if the 2022 Big Bend sends a low-battery alert to the FordPass app? I’m asking because I’ve installed a dash cam with Park Mode, but I only use the vehicle on weekends.

Good question. Back in summer 2024 when I was having low battery warning messages display on the 8” center console screen (I have a 2022), I did see the low-battery alert in the FordPass app

Now I am updated to current Ford app (which replaced FordPass), the low battery warning messages displayed on the 8” center console screen do not show as low-battery alerts in the Ford app

On a 2021, 2 years ago with a bad battery I did not get anything on the App.

Yes, but Fordpass cannot be trusted to do it if it happens. Fordpass notifications are anything but reliable.

Have you upgraded to the Ford App? I did get battery messages on FordPass but so far none on the updated Ford App

On a 2021, 2 years ago with a bad battery I did not get anything on the App.

I have a 2022, and last year my battery died on me, and there was no warning anywhere.

Yea, I have the Ford app and actually, my Android phone got a new version yesterday. That was a random screenshot I found online for the sake of showing the OP that the alerts exist.

This is great to know, because the latest version is bad, they took away a lot of info. I know before the it sent messages about low tire pressure.
