Hi All,
just traded my 2021 Outer Banks for the 2024.
With the 21 the backup camera lens could be washed when using the rear window washer.
This seams to not work with the 2024 model.
Was it discontinued?

Thanks

Hard to believe but saves me going to the dealership.
So far I noticed: "Easy-in ... Easy-Out" sliding seat is new, also garage door opener.
Not very important, but why save by removing the backup washer?
It's always dirty or full of droplets.

Thanks for confirming.

The savings are the aggregate of all the cost savings and efficiencies across all of Fords vehicles. Little things like the rear washer add up in the aggregate to hundreds of millions maybe billions in savings over time. From 2021 to new models, lots of items were removed from Bronco Sports over time. Happens across the entire Ford lineup.

Yes, it saves Ford money over time but also gives the customer less for their money. These companies are cutting their costs but not passing any savings along to the customers. Profit 101, but still aggravating.

Ford could also make more money in the long run if they could drastically reduce, if not eliminate, numerous product recalls and warranty repairs across the entire lineup. Ford currently spends approximately $4B dollars each year in warranty and recall costs. In all fairness, GM also spends about $4B annually on warranty repairs. Both could stand to spend a little more increasing overall quality to reduce warranty and recall expenditures. Not to mention how much that would actually delight their customers in the long run...

Memory seats were also added after 21 model year.
