From the title I assumed we were going to be talking about tuning or carburetor jet sizes and timing settings. Guess not.

Obviously i’m not rich, I use my CC almost exclusively now days so at any point in time, I’m in debt even if it’s paid off every month. Oh well. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'd say you're just deferring payment, taking advantage of the float, if you will. Look at it this way: if you could pay your entire balance(s) at any time but choose not to and still avoid interest, then you're not really in debt.

I'm the same; Statement balance paid in full each month, so it doesn't matter what the current balance is at any given moment. It's money that would've been spent anyway, so I'll take the points and still get a little interest from the bank on the account I pay it off with. Win/win.

Gotta differentiate between current and carried debt. As long as the latter is zero, it's all good. ;)

So does black smoke coming out of your checkbook mean you are running richer or poorer?

I probably should have said grey smoke for mine since I rarely write checks, it’s probably just dust!
