I could probably make you a 3d model of the posts if you give me an idea of what you are thinking.Mine is the “Vesul” brand. Pretty sure they’re all absolutely identical, coming from the same manufacturer in China.
It does the advertised job well enough. My only complaint is the mounting method using hooks on the rear seat headrests. I prefer to remove those on my cars as I never have rear seat passengers, and I like the extra visibility.
I did a basic print of a post that the hooks could mount to. Worked kind of OK, but I need to model the OEM posts better before I’d call it good. One more thing I need a 3D scanner for.
Just replicating the headrest posts.I could probably make you a 3d model of the posts if you give me an idea of what you are thinking.
Ok, I’ll whip you up a 3D model. OkJust replicating the headrest posts.
My proof of concept simply matched the post diameter with no consideration for the beveled scallops that provide the height “steps”, with just a basic cap that didn’t match the contour of the plastic insert the posts go into. Just a smooth plug, really.
They worked, but didn’t have any retention capability. Like I said, they were just proof of concept.
