Are all BS outlets always on?

Just moving my garmin dashcam from my trade in (jeep sahara) to the bs. Does anyone know if any of the 12v plugs or usb plugs only activate when car is running. In my jeep it was perfect for activating the dashcam. Or if there is setting I couldn’t find.

Sorted. It looks like the primary 12v outlet times out and only turns back on when the car is restarted. Perfect.

You can tap your auto dim mirror. I use this with Ford edge. Pins 1 and 4 are power. Most other pins pass though. Though the wire Guage is smaller. I doubt power to dim needs anything more than 1/2 an amp.
