Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

Itā€™s a detailed manual for sure but some aspects are not logically laid out. Within the manual, I still canā€™t find that trick of turning on the ignition (before starting) to get the main menus, or the fact there are two different menu suites. Regardless I thank the forum for finding my answer!

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

Well yes but the key fact is to be in the full idc menu. This is only entered by pushing the start button without touching the brake. The menus after engine start do not contain the oil reset and other goodies.

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

Wow. Realized my problem. I didnā€™t know you could turn the ignition on without starting the engine by pressing the start button without touching the brake. Kind of obvious now. Once I did that the full menu appeared. Thank you. Iā€™m not mad at ford again.?

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

I tried that once before but never found a menu that way. Never had a detailed vid through. Iā€™ll go try again now! Thanks.

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

As shown in my video above, my idc does not have such an option.

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

Not on my menu and probably a lot of others too. They just donā€™t know it yet.

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

Mine definitely doesnā€™t. The you tube commentator stated there was an update for the ipc that removed it.

Can’t reset oil change alarm - not happy

After 8000km and 6 months I was getting the oil change request alarm. So I dutifully got it done (mr lube - wasnā€™t cheap but they were all curious about the car). Now I cannot reset the alarm. There is no menu item. On a you tube video one commenter stated that it is a secret sequence that can...

    New rims and Hakkas

It was as simple as ā€œgive me your cheapest non-steelies that fit this carā€. Luck of the draw. Kaltire has an exclusive on Hakkas in Ontario (maybe Canada?) and they sell rtx wheels. https://rtxwheels.com/products/rtx-mini-baja-satin-black

    Thoughts on Snow Tires?

In the past I had 4 or 5 consecutive ford rangers, usually manual 4wds. They were great little trucks except in the winter (Ontario). I usually loaded up the bed with salt or sand bags to weigh down the rear. It helped but still useless. Then I married a Finn. She insisted on Hakkapeliittaā€˜s...

    New rims and Hakkas

An interesting side note. Not sure if itā€™s discussed elsewhere on this thread but after deciding to not add tpms and live with an alarm, there is no alarm. I guess it only goes on with tpms and low.

    New rims and Hakkas

Today I put on my winter tires. For summer, I have nice stock Big Bend rims(225/60R18) with Michelins. For winter, I was going to use steelies but instead bought the cheapest rims my supplier had, RTX mini Baja. I went with my winter tires of choice Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV. For ease of purchase I...

Are all BS outlets always on?

Sorted. It looks like the primary 12v outlet times out and only turns back on when the car is restarted. Perfect.

Are all BS outlets always on?

Just moving my garmin dashcam from my trade in (jeep sahara) to the bs. Does anyone know if any of the 12v plugs or usb plugs only activate when car is running. In my jeep it was perfect for activating the dashcam. Or if there is setting I couldnā€™t find.

Auto start a little kick in the pants

I have autostart on both my 2017 F-150 and my bs bb. On the bronco, it feels like a subtle kick in the pants. First time it happened I had to look in the rear view mirror. The F-150 is silky soft. Has anyone else noticed this or is it the way it is.

Does Badlands come with any floor mats if you don't get any of the optional liners?

I picked up my OEM floor mats from Ford yesterday. I think it is a better deal than weathertechs as the quality is comparable but you canā€™t beat the bronco logos!

Does Badlands come with any floor mats if you don't get any of the optional liners?

Thanks for info. I have a choice between weather tech for $280 cad or OEM set for $220. I think I get the ford ones tomorrow at the dealer - Unless someone tells me that the weather techs are worth that much more.
