We keep hearing about this is wrong, or that is wrong. Are there any BS owners out there without any issues? I’ve had my 2024 BS Badlands for two months and I’d really like to hear some positivity. It was difficult for me to come over to Ford as it is (20 years a Jeep person and before that Subaru). I am really liking my Bronco Sport but I’m getting nervous that I may have made a bad move.

The reason why you see a lot of negative posts is because that's the nature of a forum. People don't usually pop online and say "Hi! Just thought I'd start a new topic to let everyone know that my Bronco Sport has been trouble-free for 3 years and counting! OK...bye!"

I get that there are recurring issues with some models (battery, water pump, RDU to name a few), but most Bronco Sport owners who don't have problems usually stay quiet. Think of them as the silent majority.

Yes, I’ve been on many forums. Jeep, Ford, etc. and I think it is useful to know what issues are out there. I just think that in this climate of negativity in the world, we can all use some positive comments.

Just short of 2 years and 22k miles and no issues. Recalls 24S24/24V267 (BCM and PCM Calibration Updates) and 24S16/24V187 (PCM programming and Drain Tube Installation) getting performed tomorrow, so we'll see what happens after that. Cheers!

Agreed. Forums like this are a sounding board, and often the most motivated owners are those struggling with issues on the given make and model. I’m sure there’s a big, big majority of owners who not only don’t bother to post here about their satisfaction, but also don’t even care there is such a forum. I’ve been a car enthusiast for decades… formerly had Firebirds, Camaros and other GM products and posted on their sites too… and the fractions of good n bad feedback are always pretty much the same.

Other than the original brake issue that was fixed by Ford, my 2022 Badlands hasn’t had a problem.

Is it fair to say that most problems have been with 1.5s?
1.5s definitely seem to have more issues than 2.0s. Luckily I have not had that experience.

25k and no issues.

Wait, you were a Jeep person and afraid that Ford might be unreliable? I thought Jeeps were known for breaking down a lot.
[/QUOT I never had an issue at all. With any of my jeeps.

I bought a 24 BS Heritage about 8 months ago and have about 5k miles on it. Had the 24S24/24V267 (BCM and PCM Calibration Updates) done with no issues afterwards. The truck has been great. We have the 1.5 and so far no issues, one of the reasons we got rid of my wife's 17 escape was the 2.0 was having issues. But honestly she just wanted the REB BS. My only issue is she doesn't let me drive it often enough.
