Hey there, I'm looking to get a 12V fridge for the back of a BS. I'm not sure which model to choose nor which size would best fit the cargo area. Anyone care to help? I'm leaning towards the SetPower PT45 (might be a tad too big) or PT35.

Highly recommend Truma https://www.truma.com/

Extremely efficient and single or multi zone options. Very much designed for off-grid use and I ran mine (C30) for 4 days off a 800w LiPo pack during a week of remote summer camping.

Thanks for the reply. Will definitely check them out. Do you have the C30 in your BS? If so, could you share some pictures to see how it fits?

We have the Dometic CFX3 25 which is the small one. Sorry, I don't have a picture of it, if I have a chance I'll put the fridge in the back and take a pic.

Here’s a Setpower AJ 40 refrigerator in a Badlands… if you look up its size specs you can visually see how a similar sized fridge would look in your vehicle

Thanks for the picture. Do you know which ropes is the person using on that picture to tie down the fridge? Or do you have any recommendations of similar ones?

No I don’t. Perhaps harbor freight has some that are similar as shown in the pic.

Something I left out with the Dometic is I have a EcoFlow DELTA mini battery that I plug the fridge into and the 12v outlet in the BS charges the EcoFlow. Depending on how you use the fridge once you turn the BS off the 12v only stays on for 20 minutes or so.
