Would LOVE to know if they found the issue. Mine had been gone since last Tuesday. Hadnt done it once. Picked it up at 1:30 with no lights. Went back to the office and parked it and at 4:30 I started it with the same issue. No power steering, brakes squishy (ABS?) and directionals don’t work. It shut off/stalled in my driveway and wouldn’t turn back on until I locked and unlocked it with my fob. Power steering & directionals work but all lights still going. I have videos of all 4 times now. Getting SO discouraged!

I'm starting to wonder if some alternators aren't working correctly.

Many have posted suggesting your battery is likely the issue. I suggest you have yours load tested. This is a specific procedure that's more in depth than a simple voltage test. Ask you service dept to do a battery load test.

If the vehicle is still with the service department, ask them to do a load test. Otherwise, pretty much all Advance Auto Parts/O'Reilly/Autozone/NAPA location will load test a battery for free, if that's more convenient for you.

AAA Mobile battery service will come with the battery and a load tester as well (to make sure that it's a bad battery before you replace). If the battery is bad they will replace it for you and recycle the old battery. It does cost a bit more than getting the battery yourself (particularly if not a AAA member), but you don't have to deal with getting to a place to have the load test done, buy the battery [assuming the load test fails], bringing back old battery for recycling, etc.

If your Walmart has an auto center, they have the cheapest AGM I've seen around for the BS ($169.84) and they should be able to load test it as well. If your Walmart doesn't have an auto center, they don't load test.

I wouldn't recommend replacing a battery without a load test indicating it's bad. It seems to be a common cause for electrical gremlins, but it's far from the only thing that could cause such issues.

Not sure if this is still active but I am having same issue with my car. I am so tired of having an unreliable car. What did your dealer ultimately recommend ? I’m calling my dealer tomorrow. I have videos. My car has done this before, they said it was a “sensor issue”
