So does mean that those built before Feb. 1 and do not have covers considered mis-builds?

Between this and the climate control dials no longer displaying the temperature, I might have to cancel my order ;)

No chaos...Ford has spoken. If owners want one just buy one.
Yes, chaos. Look how many 1.5L owners are bi**hing about their BS not having an engine cover and the 2.0L folks gloating how they have theirs.

I tend to agree with you. Heck, I just bought a cover for my OB. No big deal, but now we're adding Badlands folks into this. Chaos will ensue ...

Our Badlands was built in December and didn’t come with one. Does that mean I can demand the dealership give me one free of charge?

I have two (2) engine covers for the 2.0L Badlands Sport that I'd be willing to sell/trade. I'll gladly trade them straight across for an F-150 Lightning Lariat w/ ER battery and max tow package. Haters need not respond, I know what I've got here.

I want one and my dealer is going to have to pay for it, on principal. Pretty dumb Ford is saddling their dealers with the issue versus just getting a $10 their cost part for folks who want one.

Good luck with that. Just here to inform it’s discontinued
