Hey all,

A few months ago I had the rough country 1.5" suspension lift kit installed on my 2022 OB. It looks great after the lift and the upgraded suspension definitely made an improvement on the ride quality. However, I noticed uneven wear on the rear tires recently, with excessive wear on the outside treads. I brought it into the Ford dealer to get an alignment, and they noted a positive camber, which I expected was likely the case. However, they are now saying that it may need aftermarket camber arms in order to have the correct alignment. Does this seem right or does anyone else have any experience with this same issue? Is it not possible to align the camber without getting new camber arms? I am not super knowledgeable about this, so I do not know if this seems reasonable.

Thank you!

Which lift? Spacers or shocks? Did you follow with the vender and/or installer?

I have the adjustable top camber arms and think they are necessary. I also have the Rough Country 1.5 inch suspension lift and agree the ride is superior. The arms are so very easy to install. Don't take your BS to the dealer for the alignment. They'll rip you hard. Find a good independent shop who specializes in alignments.

Which adjustable camber arms did you purchase?

I've had zero issues with alignment and it sounds to me like that dealer is looking to make a sale

I had the same prob as the op. I wore out my new 245's on the rear real fast after 1 1/2" lift. it wore a strip on the outer edge of both rears, no prob with the front. i had had it aligned after lift. i took to a different shop and the found the rear out of alignment and made a small adjustment on the front. the rear was adjusted without adding any new parts. i don't believe the first shop touched the rear and it sure didn't look like anything had been adjusted. mever had a prob after the realignment.
