Advice for correct gear/drive mode for our 2025 Big Bend please.

Hello everyone

The "driveway" at our cabin in central Ontario consists of a steep, loose gravel covered incline about 200 yards in length. The first part of the driveway has about a 25 to 30 degree incline which increases to about 45 degrees as one nears the "summit" of the hill.

I am unsure about the correct gear/drive mode to use. My neighbour suggests I should put the BS into Low gear and just "walk up" the hill. But, as you know, I also have the "Slippery" and "Sand" GOAT modes to choose from to assist the vehicle on loose, uneven surfaces like gravel.

I would appreciate the expert advice of the forum members please !

I do not claim to be an expert. Have you found a mode that works for you? Each situation is different.

Thank you David, I'm an older guy from the frozen north who is used to putting a vehicle into a Low gear and then trying to crawl up a snowy or icy hill in the winter months.

Going to have to start experimenting with the different drive modes on our new "Eruption Green" little rocket to take on our "driveway" !

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks !!

The system is pretty smart; why not leave it in normal and let it figure out how to get up the hill?

Thank you Mark, as someone who learned how to drive in a '66 Chevelle, I am amazed by the technology/engineering in our new BSBB !
