I have a 2025 Bronco Sport big bend with Black diamond offroad package.

It didnt come with fog lights and i would like to add the OE set. I can find the correct headlamp switch and the fog lights from the dealer and a set of brackets and screws.
Should the the wiring be there behind the bumper or is this a separate wiring harness? The dealer doesnt seem to have this answer.

I plan on other upgrades so would prefer not using the upfitter switches at this time.

Thanks

It seems like having the wiring there would be more efficient overall, but who knows.

You may just have to jack it up, remove one of the front tires and the splash shield to see if the wiring is there. It doesn't look too complicated to do.

Assuming the wiring is there, the trickier part will be to enable the config in the BCM, IPC and anywhere else needed for them to actually work.

Can you elaborate on the switch and its location? I was just going to use one of the Aux switches. Thanks.

The Switch is the factory headlamp switch which has the option for fog lights. I think this is the part #M1PZ11654DB

Yea i understand that Bcm programing could be a possibility. I didn't have time to go in depth today. Just popped the three push pins out and peeled the inner fender liner back to have a look still could not find the ends that would be used for the fog lights. When i have more time i will remove it and maybe the plastics to get a better feel for it

Interesting thread. I was thinking of doing the same to my 24 BSBB.

a quick AI look, for what it’s worth:

No, the 2025 Bronco Sport with the Black Diamond Package
does not include the wiring in place for factory front fog lights.
For the 2025 model year, Ford has generally stopped including the pre-wiring harness for fog lights on models not originally equipped with them. Fog lights are typically included as part of the separate Convenience Package.
Here is what you should know about adding fog lights:
  • Black Diamond Package Contents: This package focuses on off-road capability, adding items like steel skid plates, a brush guard, recovery hooks, and auxiliary switches and wiring for general accessories, but not the specific harness for the factory fog lights.
  • Adding Fog Lights: If you want to add fog lights, you will likely need to purchase an aftermarket wiring harness kit, a new headlight switch with a fog light button, and potentially use programming software like FORScan to activate the feature in the vehicle's system.
  • Auxiliary Switches: The Black Diamond Package does include auxiliary switches and associated pre-run wiring for installing aftermarket accessories. You could use one of these circuits to power aftermarket fog lights, which might be a simpler installation process than trying to replicate the factory setup.

Also, from experience i can tell you access to the 2025 foglights is not easy. I put aftermarket lights in my 2025 Badlands, and while the passenger side was easy, the driver side has the ecu in the way, and there is no longer access through the bumper to undo the one bolt. I ended up having to leave that bolt in place and bent the ecu out of the way just enough to squeeze my arm through and work blind. Also the 2025 fog light bolt pattern is new. Good times all around.

I have the same, and want to do the same, curious on the pricing , I have been told diode dynamics offer a better light than the OE’s , I had not considered using OE switch good idea ! As mentioned you will likely need to enable something in Forscan , looking forward to see how your journey goes please keep us posted !

So far the ford parts sites do not show a wiring harness for fog lights. So i am a little hopefull. I will not get time to dive into this untill next week. Also the dealer sofar can not tell me if there is one but they are looking into it.

Additionally in my research to do the same , I reached out to DD and got this response :
Hello Steven,

Thanks for reaching out! I have included our fog light kit below. Please note, this kit is primarily intended for those that already have fog lights, however it can be adapter to scenarios like yours. This will generally require that you modify the bumper to make them fit. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please just let me know!….my assumption is doing the cut out on our bumpers is needed, and without taking mine apart I’m hoping the mounting posts are molded and in place , then it’s a simple matter of using either factory lights and brackets and getting appropriate screws.
Additionally the awesome folks at DD provided the links for the lights and the harness adaptor that would attach the DD lights to the factory system:
https://www.diodedynamics.com/ssc1-led-fog-light-kit-for-2021-2025-ford-bronco-sport.html

https://www.diodedynamics.com/heavy-duty-dual-output-4-pin-wiring-harness.html?srsltid=AfmBOor8HeItLeeLXx6-2NyBzeycx1CvQsG1xSXADXryHvZdxQgnJ2Ye

What I am hoping is you will go first and tell me how well and how easy it was :) ,,,otherwise I will eventually get the DD kit and use one of my Black Diamond overhead switches, likely the #1 30 amp switch.

The Question I have on the DD kit or the Factory fogs, which by the way we would have to piece meal it together,, does OUR Black Diamond bumper have the posts or bumper brackets to accommodate the circled brackets on my attached pic? My thought and gut tells me that Ford would not manufacture two different bumpers , just like I would HOPE the wiring is actually also there, hopefully ?

Example : On my 2024 XL Maverick , it being an XL I can add sign recognition (LKSA) with just a switch change and a Forscan modification, the camera and wiring is already there, samething for wireless phone charging in the forward console . found a wrecked Lariat pulled the console out and plugged it in. (although I have sense gone aftermarket because the Ford wireless is weak , I need something with some oomph )

Hopefully one of my fellow Bronco Sport Black Diamond owners will pull a bumper and let me know !

Just read the installation instructions for those. What a PITA. Think I'll pass.
