I’m finally getting around to finishing this up… my overhead connector only has two spaces in between the blue and white stripe wire and the green and brown wire. According to your photo, the green and brown one was added for supplying 12v.

I do have, on the other row, and blank opening, with a corresponding pin on the male side.

My photo and yours show the same part of the connector. You show adding three wires here, but I only have room for two?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport United States Order Guide says that Rain Sensing wipers are standard equipment on the Outer Banks trim under Safety/Security. Per the Order Guide it is not available on the other trims. The 26 Order Guide indicates that Rain Sensing wipers were deleted for 2026. Prior year Order Guides indicate that rain sensing wipers were also standard and only available on the Outer Banks trim.

I don't know of any Badlands 2025 that includes it. I think it does in Canada.
In my case, I own a Ford Bronco Sport Badlands 2025, (purchased in 2026 in Argentina but manufactured in Mexico in 2025), and it is equipped with a rain sensor and automatic windshield wipers.

Exactly. Only OuterBanks has it.

Only the Bigbend version includes it. The Badlands 2025 and 2026 versions do not.

I’m still a bit lost on which wires to utilize on mine 🤣

Hahahahahaha can't believe it...

I honestly can’t believe it, I clearly made a pretty big mistake here.
I actually dislike automatic wiper systems and always keep them turned off.

When I took delivery of the vehicle, the person who walked me through it explained that the rotary dial on the right stalk controls the sensitivity of the automatic system, and that moving the stalk up to the first position activates (and deactivates) the automatic mode.
So basically, I never really used it. I’ve always been operating the wipers manually, just using the medium, or high speeds by moving the stalk up two, or three positions.
Thanks a lot for pointing this out, I appreciate it.

That said, I still find it quite confusing how the base version includes this feature while the Badlands (which is supposed to be the more fully equipped version) apparently does not. It goes against the general logic, since the Badlands typically has more equipment than the lower trims.
