Has anyone with this production week been able to obtain rail car numbers from Ford? My dealer completely ignored my question as I expected. And one Ford chat rep told me that they didn't know the rail car number but was able to tell me the car is in Illinois. The other rep also told me it's in Illinois but there has not been a rail car number assigned.
Mine is still showing as “In Production” ??‍♀

When did it go into production, do you know? My production week is 6/27 but the invoice was dated 6/21 and was shipped 6/30. Maybe yours didn't get completed before the plant shutdown?

Last I heard from Ford was my production week was 6/27. The invoice date was 6/23. I saw module data on 7/4 and that’s been it. The trackers all still say “In production”. It’s been a bummer since I’ve seen a lot of people ship within days of module data showing. So assuming something is holding it up and there won’t be any more movement for the next 2 weeks.

Oh damn. That stinks. Have you tried the Ford chat? Maybe they can give you more info on when it will ship.

Just a thought for those of you that have been in Production for a few days and are worried about the shutdown for the next 2 weeks. That shutdown is not a complete plant shutdown. The shutdown is scheduled for maintenance on the assembly, and probably paint, line. So, there is some possibility that final prep for shipping and actual shipping will happen in the next day or so. In order to perform all of the maintenance that needs to be done they will need to clear the line of any vehicles. Basically, there should not be any vehicle left in the middle of the production line because it would be an obstacle during the line maintenance.

If your BS started the production process, it should make it out complete and into shipping and not sit for 2 weeks. It just doesn’t make any sense for it to stop and sit.

I called my dealership and they pulled the "Smart Vincent report" and got my rail car number from that

I've communicated with my sales guy via email and usually get very short and incomplete answers from him ?‍♀. And honestly it's kind of what I expected lol.

It's the vehicle visibility report that has that info. The smart vincent has pricing and incentive information.

Makes sense! When I talked to my dealer a couple of days ago, he was fairly sure it was “built” but something was holding it up from being switched over and shipped. What it was, they didn’t know.

Unfortunately mine is held up “in production” status, so I wouldn’t know.

Maybe
 just maybe
in 7/4, a bunch of cars has rolled off the production line and being processed to be shipped
..the data was transmitted to an office in the States but nobody was working
. By 7/5, the person was only doing the 7/5 data and left the 7/4 data sitting in an email inbox
or whatever software they use for the tracking system
.
We’ve seen some report in Waiting Room that car showed Built after 7/4 has shipped status already.

And even this person accepted the shipped data but the system wouldn’t update ‘cus the “Built” data was never entered, so the system rejected.

I’m being optimistic :)

I like this theory, it’s as good as any other.
