Well, I tried to get this CSP 24B47 done on my 2021 Sport because of continually losing the last media( USB stick with music) I was using when I shut the vehicle off and upon the next startup.

Even though my build date is included, my dealer say's that the CSP is Vin# specific and my Sport isn't listed.

I do have an extended warranty, with a $50 deductible. Do I want to have them diagnose this and tell me there's nothing wrong or they can figure it out?

I've pissed away $50 on other things, but not sure I'll take it in and do it with Ford. I was hoping this CSP might do the trick, but it isn't going to happen.

I called customer support, but you know where that went.

My 24 BS VIN is also not listed as needing the CSP done. Obviously still under original warranty. I was having an issue of the 23 map update downloading through wifi and than stop downloading without completing the download and installing the map update. I brought the BS it into the dealer and showed them the CSP. Since my VIN was not part of the CSP the repair order did not mention the CSP.The work order just says that Customer states software does not update over the air. It also said that some modules were reset. I asked the service writer what they did and he told me they basically did the CSP but did it slightly differently for warranty purposes. The map never did complete the update. I had to get the USB to complete the download. Anyway can you talk to the service writer before having a thing done to make sure they will do the update and use your description as the diagnoses so you are not wasting anyone's time and than throwing away $50 if they spend time diagnosing and do not find anything?

What Build version of SYNC 3.4 are you running?

You can check on the NTHSA webpage what recalls your BS has by your VIN. You can confirm if it applies to your vehicle of not.

Understand about NHTSA. 24B47 is not a recall. It's a CSP(Customer Satisfaction Program).

Not sure that it will be listed there. Might have to go to the Ford website for answers about 24B47 if anyone wants to know if their VIN# is included.
