No, I exchanged a few messages with them on here, have talked to corporate and a few dealerships around me, but still have not been able to get them to provide a rental car (had to pay $500 out of pocket to get one for the week since I need a car to get to work, and that was the best deal I could find). I was told that it’s an issue with the transmission and they’ve ordered the parts to fix it so I’ll be calling corporate again this afternoon.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Is this what I can expect in the future after purchasing an extended warranty? Ford telling me to pound sand while continuing to pay the note for a repair that may take months?

What is the deal here, @Ford Motor Company ? Why won't you take care of this customer?

Unfortunately all of the dealers around me are saying the same thing. I called corporate and they told me that after it is repaired (service guy told me it could be months), they will reimburse me $40/day, which is less than half the amount of a basic rental car in my area (and my car is a badlands with premium package, so a comparable car would be MUCH more). They also won't reimburse me for any time before a diagnosis is made even though the car isn't drivable, which could be weeks. Pretty disappointing for a car that is only two months old!
WOW ! That is so sad and TOTALLY sucks for Ford not to stand behind their vehicles. Hope you're back on the road quickly.

I was driving tonight when my 2023 Badlands (purchased new in February) stopped working. I was stepping on the gas and nothing was happening as if it was in neutral. Thankfully, I was able to pull over before the car behind me ran into me, but I couldn't get the car to drive again even after putting in neutral, back in drive, turning it off, back on, etc... at one point it flashed "service required" on the screen for a split second but other than that no lights were on.

Ended up having to have it towed to the dealership. Anyone else experience anything like this?
I had this exact thing happen to me, at 1,000 miles on the nose, on my 22 BL while driving in the highway in WY. Just died in the middle of the road, would not accelerate and I coasted into a (luckily very close) gas station. Called Ford and they were not helpful, nor was the local dealer.

This was after insisting and waiting on a new BL, so I thought the worst and regretted the decision.

Ended up power-cycling the car (turning off, letting sit for 15-30 mins, and turning back on), and it was fine. I’ve thankfully yet to have any other real issues, so appears to have been a cpu issue. I love the vehicle to death - it’s been better than expected.

Lately have noticed in Sport mode it seems to downshift at inappropriate moments, but switching it to standard and back clears the problem.

sounds like your transmission went out like mine did in my 22 Big Bend. Had it 5 months and then mine took a crap. These whole fleets of Bronco Sports 22-23 have been nothing but problems with a lot of people. I don’t know why they don’t just recall all of them lol, wishful thinking. I hope you get better service than I did.

Sorry to hear that! How long did it take to get it fixed? I was told today that they have to replace the entire transmission.

They had to replace mine as well and it took about a month and a half for parts and for them to fix it. However, mine took a crap the week before Christmas, which prevented me from going home…yes still salty lol, and it was done 2nd week of January I think. It could of been due to the holidays so yours may be done quicker.

The "Ford Motor Company" account on here is just their social media team. They have no power to help. I interacted with them and they were equally powerless. They writing to help is just a PR move in my experience.

If it's any consolation, my bro in law had a problem with his new Kia Stinger and it also took months to fix because of lack of parts.

Most automakers are funneling the lion's share of parts to production facilities.

If they are unable to fix your car in a certain time frame (varies by state) they may be required to buy it back as a lemon. 45 days is the number I’ve heard(friends ram eco diesel broke oil cooler inside radiator, full engine and cooling system replaced,44 days).

May not help you now, but I would recommend anybody renting a car use Autoslash to compare auto rental rates including any discounts that Wholesale club, membership organization (AAA/AARP, etc.), Frequent flier program presence, credit card network (Visa Signature, Mastercard World Elite, etc.), etc discounts that may be provided... also if you work for a large company, their corporate rate may extend to personal rentals. My corporate discount applies to Hertz rentals when I select "this rental is for personal use" in booking, it just doesn't include the loss damage waiver (for damage to the rental car upon return).

The $40/day rental reimbursement is kind of insulting in the modern rental car market, IMO. Even with corporate or other discounts I'd be paying at least $60/day here.

Good morning! I would be glad to help you out with the transmission issues happening with your Bronco Sport. Just shoot us a direct message with your VIN and dealer name/location, and I'll get right on it. Thank you!
Just curious from Ford. Why are fords designed that garage door openers work when there is power to the vehicle. For instance the last 3 Fords I have owned if I left them in my driveway anyone could break a window and activate the door opener and open my garage.

I know you wanted Ford to answer your question but meanwhile you will find discussion about your topic at this link:

also, just an FYI if you want Ford to see your post you can private message the Ford internet team or include “Ford Motor Company” with a leading @ sign and without the quotes like: @Hot Rod Mike
