Maybe I broke my G.O.A.T. dial. I was kind of whipping it around. Seems like it ignores one click or sometimes I just spin it the wrong way.

This spin up of RPM occurred in park after pushing the start button.
I am afraid to turn on my Bronco Sport right now. (My kid was horrified).

My 2022 Bronco Sport Outer Banks 1.5L is now unsafe to drive.

1. Throttle goes up but never down without hitting brakes.
2. Any touch of brakes causes popup
3. In adaptive cruise, pressing down causes speed to go up. i.e its at "60". Pressing "Down" should show "59". It shows 61, then 62,..
4. In neutral pushing accelerator sends RPM very high

Yes, definitely call the dealership and have your car towed there. We have roadside assistance for something like 3 yrs I believe. I'm certainly no expert, but the GOAT dial does initiate and terminate software switching, so something is wonky there, especially if the dial freely spins past its normal physical limits.

In addition to the weird revving in Eco Mode, I too had a spin up of RPM when I pulled into my garage and the engine soft-stop kicked in right as I moved the shifter dial from D to P which caused a loud tranny clunk. I have not experienced that anymore either.
Makes me wonder if the dealership did a software update of some kind? They did not indicate that, but the RPM revving, nor the clunking, are happening for me anymore - although I put very few miles on my car during a given week...
BTW - Ford corporate followed up with me really quickly and regularly. I was very impressed with Ford's speed in handling this, both corporate and the local dealership. They will help you out.

I earlier wrote an alarming post that my accelerator was not working in a safe mode.
Dealer pointed out when I replaced my Weathertech floor mat (which I love) I PLACED THE FLOOR MAT OVER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL.
