I dropped my 2021 BS Outer Banks off to the dealer yesterday as it was making a flat tire type noise coming from the rear when I would make a slow tight right turn. They just called me and turned out it was the rear differential, it was replaced. Only 20,000 miles, never been off road.

Unfortunately a few other owners reported similar issues and Ford does have some related technical service bulletins

seems like you would have no out of pocket if covered under the power train warranty?

or were you out of warranty and if so what was the total cost?

I also had a bad RDU while out of warranty. Ford replaced it at no cost to me.

Just got my 2021 Bronco Sport back from dealer, they DID NOT replace the RDU as they told me. They replaced: Vent Hose/Stud /Oil and magnetic plug. The noise is gone; they said to keep an eye on it.
They also replaced my NEW Ever Start battery with their Motor Craft battery as per a recall.

My '21 BL just started making unhappy noises from the rear diff a couple weeks ago with 35k+ trouble free miles. I'll be bringing it in on July 15th and hope the Drivetrain Warranty covers it. I do have a ding in my rear left skid plate and a zip tie repair to the fiber cloth belly shield thingy that I hope they don't use against me.

I to have a 2021 Bronco Sport that also has a flat tire noise when making a slow right turn. The dealer looked at it, tried a repair that worked for about 6 months, now same noise again. 20,000 miles.

I also have a 2021 Bronco sport with the chatter/shudder during low speed turns. My warranty is out, dealer telling me it’s all out of pocket. Took to local mechanic and he did the TSB 24–2386. He confirmed that my problem fits with that service bulletin. I need the recommended dry vent hose which is on back order! ? I had them change the differential fluid and issue seems better. Figured that might buy me some time.
I just called Ford and they won’t “help” unless service is done at a dealer. I don’t trust my local dealer. It’s so frustrating it’s a 4 year old vehicle that they know there is a problem and I have to pay for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the TSB #. Sorry you're stuck like that. Are you beyond the 60k mile drive train warranty?

I’m at 84,000 miles. ???. Does anyone think there’s any chance Ford would help with fix or should try to find a money tree? ??‍♀

Unfortunately, I' thinking your odds are better looking for a money tree.
