I have not found a diagram of the lift points for a two post lift. Does anyone have one or a link?

No, not really as those points usually use the pinch welds and two post lift will use something more solid to avoid crushing pinch welds

I thought the jacking points were reinforced. I can jack both wheels on one side off the floor using a floor jack under a single jacking point without causing any damage.

I could use the pinch welds , but would not feel comfortable without a grooved adapter at each location to prevent damage to pinch welds.

I have a small piece of 1/4 wall angle iron I’ve used for decades when lifting on the pinch weld.

I have a book that came with our hoist that shows lifting point for hundreds of vehicles.

In most cases they are the same as the factory jacking points, but sometimes they are different.

A few vehicles have 2 sets of lifting points.

My book is several years old, but I imagine new lifts have something similar.

Yes those are the adapters. I use those other vehicles, but was hoping the bronco would have an additional lift point for hoists. Pinch welds can be different heights for different vehicles, but I guess it’s possible the dealer service changes out lift pads for each vehicle. They of course do not use adapters.

My
Lift is older and no such manual. I did find a video from a trusted YouTube channel of a Ford tech that I follow that shows the points for an Escape which should be the same. Apparently it IS on the pinch weld.

In my limited experience, in most cases the pinch weld factory jacking points are fine (they are recommended) esp if you have some way of protecting the pinch weld.

Our lift came with 4-5" diameter high density rubber pads, and I've just used them. They work fine, no damage -- but an adapter, or the angle iron Steve mentioned, would be better.

Yes my lift has rubber pads as well , with grooves. If the pinch weld is short enough, slotted hockey pucks are a great “adapter/ protector”. It worked out fine and oil and trans fluid successfully changed.

I don't believe these adapters are meant to prevent folding a pinch weld, they are meant to prevent the vehicle sliding off the lift pads. My floor jack has a tough rubber pad on top of the lift pad that I believe provides adequate friction to prevent the car sliding off the jack.
