It's totally normal to say out loud "I love you" every time you get in your Bronco, right?
Seriously though, this thing has been like Mary Poppins -- practically perfect in every way. Mechanically I have had zero problems (I don't count the bolt in the tire, which was fixed easily enough.) It's comfortable, plenty powerful, and has taken me everywhere I've wanted to go. After 8 months I'm still excited to get off work and settle my rear into the seat. I look forward to driving it every time I must, and I make up reasons to drive it if I don't have any pressing needs available.
I had a lot of trepidation spending this much on what can seem like so little when compared to larger vehicles, but none of the fears have been realized. When I went camping this summer I wished it was a little bit larger to hold more gear, but it was more than enough with a roof top bag. My kite bag fits just fine with one side of the back seat folded down. (I may have to make a run to the coast this weekend...) I've hauled dogs, fence posts, a workbench, and lots of groceries. In all ways this has been enough, and way more than the previous sedan.
For adventuring I've gone roaming on forest service roads in the Olympic National Forest, several times gone off the hard pack and into the deep sand at the beach, made it to several trailheads I would never have taken the Sentra to, and driven narrow, steep, winding roads into the Olympic Mountains. When we had snow and ice I was safe and confident. I can't imagine anything I'll want to do that will be beyond the capabilities of my Bronco.
If I were to find a negative it would be that the seats could be more adjustable. They're fine, adequate, but not as robust as is possible.
For straight up awesome positives: smoking Jeeps off the line at every stop light. It never gets old. Never. Second, the stares. On two different corners on the way home today people locked eyes onto the Bronco and looked longingly, jealously at it. Perfect. If I could do it again I'd do it twice.
