2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend, three months old. Will have 3,000 miles on it next week. Started to experience some serious bucking and vibration when going up slight inclines/hills at about 40mph and 1500rpm since exactly the 2,000 mile mark. Pressing the accelerator makes the problem instantly go away. Thinking either torque converter or transmission issue starting to manifest. Not worried about it since it's under warranty. No malfunction lights. Other than that, I really like the vehicle and would buy another.
I had the same problem with our 25 BSBB when going up a long incline near our home. I solved the vibration problem by putting the vehicle in Sport mode and pressing the accelerator just before reaching the start of the hill. This increases the RPMs and the speed and I assume, this allows the correct gear changes to happen as the vehicle proceeds up the hill ?

Could one of the forum's experts please explain the technical aspects of this vibration issue ?

Many thanks
